Having been with OTC pretty much since the beginning,it’s been fantastic to be part of that journey and watch the
company grow and become more and more successful over the last two years.
I work full time in a busy and demanding corporate role, but the support I get from within the company and the rest of the agents, has proved that it’s also possible to run a successful travel business
alongside other commitments.
I have planned some pretty extensive itineraries for clients through out Asia and South America and it’s having the knowledge of the suppliers available, the understanding of the systems and the support of the office team that has made these trips possible and memorable for my clients.
Deep diving into Cruise training last year, also gave me the confidence to book trips in this category,
which resulted into winning an incredible Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean which OTC
generously rolled out as an agent incentive.
The team is super supportive and even though alot of us have never met in person,
we all feel really comfortable chatting with each other on our monthly team calls.

Two years ago this month, I stepped into the world of travel. A month later, I joined the incredible OTC family—and what a ride it’s been since! I love being a home-working agent.
Its the freedom, the creativity, the people, and the small but mighty wins. Every day is different, and that’s the magic of it. One of the biggest highlights was being invited to represent OTC at the JET2 annual VIP conference in Belek, Turkey.
I was only seven months into being a homeworker at that point and, truthfully, I was a bundle of nerves! But I told myself: focus less on what you don’t know, and more on building trust, showcasing the hotel, and learning
from the amazing agents around me. It worked—and I came back feeling totally re-energized.
Another unforgettable moment was the day before that trip: our OTC Christmas party. It was the first
time I’d met many of my fellow agents in person, and the connection was so real and uplifting. To top it off, I was awarded the “Trophy for Agent of the Year”! That moment reminded me to focus less on where I haven’t succeeded, and more on celebrating where I have. And then came another big opportunity, I won a cruise incentive through the integration of our new booking system and making the most amount of cruise sales for the month.
